Christening Cakes.

What does christening really mean (Anglican)?

Give (a baby) a Christian name at baptism as a sign of admission to a Christian Church. Confirmation is understood in contemporary Anglicanism as a mature and voluntary affirmation of one's faith. Generally, people are baptized as children in the Anglican church and, therefore, their baptismal vows are made by their parents and held in trust for them. Confirmation is their own acknowledgment and affirmation of these vows.

Over the years parents have taken pride in having a big celebration for their child's christening. Its a way for them to express their devotion to God and thanking Him at the same time.  Over the years people have tried to go over board with Christening cake but in a safe way. Christening is an Holy event and that means pure and sweet so, most cake decorators try to make something clean, simple, elegant and creative at the same time. Here are some images of christening cakes have made.
